17 Join
the Ozark Rivers Audubon Chapter of the National Audubon Society in a
very special member appreciation outing on Saturday, Nov.17. The
chapter is sponsoring a birding outing to the World Bird Sanctuary
outside of Gray Summit. After bird-watching, the group will
participate in a special "behind the scenes" tour of the
Sanctuary. The World Bird Sanctuary's mission is to preserve the earth's
biological diversity and to secure the future of threatened bird species
in their natural environments. They work to fulfill that mission through
education, captive breeding, field studies and rehabilitation. The
World Bird Sanctuary (WBS) is one of Nov.

Fine Arts Association’s Theatre on the Square in downtown Waynesville
will present “A Dickens’ Christmas Carol: A Traveling Travesty in
Two Tumultuous Acts.” Curtain times are at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday,
Friday and Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $7 each ($5 for
children 12 and younger). Tickets are available at Reznicek Dental
Group, Pulaski County Tourism Bureau and Caffe Italia in Waynesville.
